TRASH Trash and rubbish must be bagged and placed in receptacles in designated areas. There is a labeled receptacle for cans and a spot assigned for newspapers. Covers should be kept closed. 

WINDOWS Aluminum foil, reflective covering, bed sheets, and other unsightly materials are not permitted on windows. Tinting is permitted. Please refer to the Architectural Control Guidelines for further information regarding outside window coverings. 

VIOLATIONS In the event of a violation, the violator will first receive a telephone call from the Association Manager advising of the violation. If the violation is not remedied within a reasonable amount of time, a letter will be sent notifying the violator of his/her right to a hearing before the Board of Directors after which the Manager is empowered to levy an appropriate fine established by the Board Directors. 

GENERAL INFORMATION

BOARD OF DIRECTORS The affairs of Scottsdale House are governed by a Board of nine Directors elected by the membership. Directors serve without compensation. The Board meets monthly October through April, generally the 3rd Tuesday of the month, and is required by the Articles of Incorporation to hold at least one meeting each quarter. Members are welcome to attend meetings and observe proceedings. The Board has broad powers in conducting the affairs of Scottsdale House, limited only by Arizona law, the Sublease, Articles of Incorporation and By-laws. The Officers of Scottsdale House are a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer elected annually by the Board of Directors. 

ANNUAL MEETING An annual meeting of the members of Scottsdale House is held on the third Tuesday in March. At this meeting members elect one-third of the Board which consists of nine Directors and conduct other business as may properly come before the membership. 

STAFF A professional Manager directs a carefully selected, trained staff of individuals in achieving the smooth daily operation of Scottsdale House. The work of this staff is supplemented when necessary by other individuals under contract.

STATEMENT OF ACCOUNTS Monthly statements are delivered the 1st or 2nd of the month and payable or before the 10th day of the month. Payments not received by the 20th day of month will be subject to a late charge.

 DINING ROOM AND LOUNGE The dining and lounge facilities are managed by a Dining Room Manager and working Chef who report directly to the Manager of Scottsdale House. The dining room and lounge is operational Tuesday through Saturday lunch and dinner and occasional Sunday Brunches. Lunch is not served on Saturdays during summer. Please refer to your monthly calendar for hours of operation The dining room and lounge are closed the month of August. November through May gentlemen are required to wear jackets (ties optional) for dinner and Sunday Brunches in the dining room. Jackets are not mandatory for dining in the lounge and Wednesday evenings are casual through out the Club. June through October walking shorts are permitted during lunch. Bathing attire is not permitted anywhere in the Clubhouse. 

GUEST MEMBERSHIPS Guest memberships are available for a small administration fee which may change from time to time at the discretion of the Board. Guest members are entitled to use the dining and lounge facilities and to participate in social programs available to residents. Due to insurance liability the Fitness Room and Swimming Pool are not available to Guest Members. 

ABSENCES Members should notify the office when leaving home for short or long durations. For absences of over two weeks, a "going away" form should be filled and will be kept on file in the office giving instructions for the care of the residence, patio, and mail. 

KEYS A set of keys to each unit is kept locked in the office for emergencies. If leaving a vehicle on the grounds when not in residence, a set of keys to the vehicle must also be left in the office for emergencies and normally scheduled pavement work.

GUESTS AND DELIVERIES Residents should notify the officer at the gate when expecting guests or deliveries. The officer will notify residents of arrivals only if previously requested. The gatehouse personnel is not equipped to receive and hold packages or keys for residents. Such things must be brought into the office. No deliveries will be allowed after 6:00 p.m. nightly except small items such as pharmacy, food, flowers and express mail.
