Tuesday, March 2: 11:00 a.m. Horse Races at Turf Paradise

Thursday, March 4: 11:00 a.m. Arizona Mining & Mineral Museum
Over 3,000 minerals, rocks, fossils and mining artifacts are on exhibit. Highlighting the collection are the colorful minerals from Arizona's copper mines. Price per Person: $2.00/Trip Charge: $3.00
Friday, March 5: 10:00 a.m. AZ Indoor Marketplace and Farmers Market
Located off of Thunderbird and the 101, this unique indoor marketplace has a wide range of vendors, including everything from name brand clothing, shoes, jewelry, home decor, furniture, bedding, toys, sporting goods, beauty products, art work and electronics. Trip Charge: $3.00
Monday, March 8: 11:30 a.m. Lunch at 'The Cider Mill'
This is a gourmet market and sandwich shop. Their atmosphere is very comfortable, warm and cozy. It's a family owned business. Trip Charge: $3.00
Thursday, March 11: 11:30 a.m. Papago Park Hike and Picnic
With its other worldly sandstone buttes, Papago Park has graced the City of Phoenix Park System since 1959. Papago's trails are generally easy treks with little elevation gain, making it a great place for a family hike. This is a make-up trip for the canceled Camelback Hike. Mauricio has worked at Scottsdale House for the last 6 years as one of Mike's Foreman. As a Foreman, Mauricio works very closely with all the grounds crew. He is responsible for making sure all gardeners have all necessary supplies for that day's job, executing directions from his Department Head and following through with projects. Before Mauricio started his career at Scottsdale House, he was a Chef at a local restaurant. Mauricio is a great asset to Scottsdale House and we are very happy to have him as a part of our team!

Haiti's Earthquake
Thank you to everyone who donated money to the Haiti's Earthquake Fund we were having here at Scottsdale House.
We raised over $1,700.00!!!!
All donations collected have been sent to the Salvation Army. Your money will be put to good use, buying much needed supplies for the people of Haiti.
The NEW menu has arrived!!! Be sure to stop by the dining room to try all of Chef Russell's amazing new dishes. We've heard nothing but good things! If you need a take-out menu, donít hesitate to ask!
Last month for the Valentineís Style Show, we had over a 180 ladies in attendance. This has been the largest party we've had this season! Thank you to everyone who attended and made this event a success!! Also, a huge thanks to our models and our helpers, Phyllis Ashmore, Joan Baldwin, Loretta Bennison, Ayten Daly, Lesley Flaks, Linda Kearns, Dorothy Lobeer, Irene Lucero and Ashley Parkhurst.
More and more of you are taking advantage of the home delivery service, which can really come in handy when those unexpected visitors stop in. Just order any entree off the menu and have it delivered to your home, at no cost, using the coupons provided.
You don't need an invitation to come to dinner in your own dining room at Scottsdale House, the welcome mat is always out and you can rest assured that there is always something cookig in the kitchen that will excite your palate with Chef Russell.
Don't forget that reservations are greatly appreciated, but aren't required. Making your reservations early helps us with scheduling staff.
The Dining Room is no longer open for lunch on Saturdays. Lunch will only be served Tuesday-Fridays, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Special Parties, however, are accepted.

IMPORTANT NEWS!
Fines are being assessed for pet owners that are not picking up after their pets! it is not only inconsiderate to your neighbors, but it is against the law in the City of Scottsdale. Please continue to report anyone you see that is not picking up after their pet or is not leashing their pet. A pet station with plastic bags and garbage can have been installed on the Outer drive. Please keep your eyes open for it!
