The following is a partial list of road construction projects and traffic restrictions taking place in Scottsdale Dec. 24 - Jan. 3, 2010. For more information, contact: adechance@ScottsdaleAz.gov
100TH STREET FROM SWEETWATER TO FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT
The following restrictions will be in place on 100th Street from Sweetwater Avenue to Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard while crews perform pavement sealing:
**Dec. 28 - northbound 100th Street will be closed to all traffic at the intersection of Sweetwater Avenue and 100th Street from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
**Dec. 29 and 30 - northbound 100th Street will be closed to all traffic between Sweetwater Avenue and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
** Dec. 29 and 30 - one southbound lane on 100th Street will be closed between Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Thompson Peak Parkway from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Detours will be clearly marked during the project. Please be attentive when traveling in the area.

CACTUS ROAD RESTRICTIONS
The following restrictions will take place on Cactus Road from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Dec. 31 for utility work:
**The westbound curb lane will be closed on Cactus Road from 84th Street to Hayden Road.
**The northbound curb lane will be closed on Scottsdale Road approaching Cactus Road.
**The northbound curb lane will be closed on Hayden Road from Cactus Road to Cholla Street.

SCOTTSDALE ROAD AND SHEA BOULEVARD
The northbound right curb lane of Scottsdale Road will be closed at Shea Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. weekdays through Dec. 31 as crews construct a right turn lane just north of the intersection.

THOMPSON PEAK PARKWAY & MCDOWELL MOUNTAIN RANCH ROAD
Utility work will restrict the intersection of Thompson Peak Parkway and McDowell Mountain Ranch Road in all directions Mondays through Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 15.

100TH STREET, FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT & THOMPSON PEAK PARKWAY
**The area of 100th Street, Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, Thompson Peak Parkway and Redfield Road will have various restrictions for utility work from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 31. Lane restrictions will change as crews move through the area. Please drive with care and be attentive to north, south and westbound lane restrictions.
**100th Street will be restricted northbound at Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 10 for construction of a bus bay and right turn lane.

RESTRICTIONS ON VIA LINDA
**The north, south and eastbound curb lanes will be closed at the intersection of Via Linda and 136th Street from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Dec. 31.
**North and southbound travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction on Mountain View approaching Via Linda from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Dec. 31.
**The eastbound curb lane on Via Linda will be closed at 115th Street from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Dec. 31.

PIMA ROAD RESTRICTIONS
**The southbound curb lane on Pima Road at Los Gatos will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 31 for utility work.
**Expect delays in all directions at the intersection of Pima Road and Legacy Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 5.
**The north and southbound curb lanes will be restricted and only one westbound left turn lane will be open during utility work on Pima Road at Happy Valley Road from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 8.

RESTRICTIONS ON SHEA BOULEVARD
The following restrictions and closures will take place on Shea Boulevard:
**The westbound curb lane on Shea Boulevard will be closed from 132nd to 124th streets Mondays through Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 31.
**Utility work will restrict Shea Boulevard eastbound at 136th Street from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Dec. 31.
**Shea Boulevard will be restricted eastbound at 114th Street/Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard for utility from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning Jan. 4 through Jan. 22.

UTILITY WORK
The following road segments will have restrictions for utility work:
**Expect north, south and eastbound restrictions at the intersection of Pima Road and Pinnacle Peak Road from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 31.
**Mountain View Road will be restricted eastbound between 107th and 112th streets from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Dec. 31. Eastbound traffic will be shifted to the two-way left turn lane.
**Cactus Road will be restricted east and westbound from 89th to 100th streets weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through Dec. 31.
**The southbound curb lane and one westbound left turn lane will be closed on Hayden Road between Frank Lloyd Wright and Northsight boulevards from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan 1.
** Southbound traffic will be shifted to the center lane on 92nd Street at Thunderbird Road from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 4.
